At present, the waterproof of LED Outdoor Landscape Light is mainly divided into structural waterproof and material waterproof. Structural waterproof is to improve the structural protection performance of the lamp body, so that it can cope with the harsh outdoor environment; The material waterproof is to leave the position of filling glue to seal the electrical components during product design, and use glue materials to achieve waterproof during assembly.

1. Waterproof at inlet wire hole
The incoming and outgoing lines of LED landscape lights are the places where water is most likely to enter. Therefore, the screws and nuts at this part must be tightened in place. The incoming and outgoing lines cannot be pulled out easily. They can be fixed by means of binding tape, gluing, etc. If the lamps are to be buried underground or used in water, they are all bottom outlets, and the lamp body is relatively soaked by water. The inlet line must be more sealed.

2. Glass sealant waterproof
If there is a glass rubber ring, first make a circle of less uniform waterproof glue in the rubber ring fixing groove or near the side ring of the lamp body or a point inside the lamp body, to increase the squeeze sealing property of the rubber ring when it is pressed by the pin; If there is no glass rubber ring, apply waterproof glue directly in the glass rubber ring groove and diagonally.

3. Screw the cover rubber ring to prevent water
First, consider fixing the rubber ring. Generally, the lamp body has no rubber groove, the rubber ring is thick, and the side without through screw hole faces inward; If the lamp body has a rubber groove, first apply a small amount of glue evenly around the rubber groove to fix the rubber ring; For the lamp body whose structural waterproof is not very good, it is also necessary to evenly apply some glue on the rubber ring surface and the side near the lamp body.
